In order for your EV SSL Certificate to function properly, you must install two (2) GeoTrust EV Intermediate Certificates on your Web server in addition to the EV server certificate to enable the "green bar" capability in IE7 and to ensure the proper trust chain is established. Customers NOT running Apache Web serversFor customers working with non-Apache web servers you will need to import the following two EV intermediate certificates in addition to the EV SSL Server Certificate (public key) which was sent to you in the body of the fulfillment email and is also downloadable from your SSL Manager account (recommended). Customers running Apache Web serversFor customers working with Apache web servers you will need to import two EV intermediate certificates. However, Apache requires the installation of the two EV Intermediate CA certificates as a single file. For your convenience, GeoTrust offers the EV Intermediate CA's as a bundle which includes both the Primary and the Secondary EV Intermediate CA Certificates merged together in a single file. In addition you will also need to install the EV SSL Server Certificate (public key) which was sent to you in the body of the fulfillment email and is also downloadable from your SSL Manager account (recommended).
